Sunday 25 October marked the beginning of the winter season in the aviation sector. Changzhou Airport has officially launched the winter flight season. From 25 October to 25 March the flight schedules are adapted to cater for all passengers whether they travel for business or leisure or to visit friends or relatives.
A total of 11 airlines, including the newly added Chongqing Airlines and Loong Air, will carry out flights to 26 destinations domestically. Compared to the winter flight season in 2019, three destinations of Quanzhou, Jieyang and Changchun are added to the Changzhou Airport offer this winter. An increasing number of flights will be operated to 14 destinations, including Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Xi’an and Xiamen.
In addition, Changzhou Airport offers frequent flights to the following destinations: Guangzhou (6 flights per day); Shenzhen and Chengdu (4 flights per day); Chongqing, Xiamen, Harbin and Shenyang (3 flights per day); Qingdao, Kunming, Dalian, Haikou, Xi’an and Beijing (at least 2 flights per day).
International flights, except for air routes to Osaka and Macao, have not fully resumed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the long-haul segment, an increasing number of international destinations are expected to be added to the Changzhou Airport offer.
