At the Development and Reform Work Conference of Changzhou held on January 20, the key projects of Changzhou received financial support. Eight commercial banks and 16 companies signed cooperation agreements, granting loans of 7.234 billion yuan. Mr. Han Jiuyun, executive vice mayor of Changzhou and member of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC, delivered a speech at the meeting.

The participating banks include China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Band of China, etc. The key projects are:  the energy-saving colored aluminum project of Jiangnan Industrial Group, the steel cord cords and bead wires project of Jinfeng New Material Group, the Industrial Design Center of KTK Group, etc.

The meeting identified the focus of the city's development and reform in 2014, i.e.: take the initiative of further reform and innovation; go all out to promote key projects; improve the effectiveness of re-structuring and upgrading; and better coordinate regional development. Meanwhile, Changzhou will further promote green development, improve the people's livelihood, and strengthen self-construction.
